There’s no denying it—pro wrestling is bigger than ever, thanks to streaming platforms like Netflix, Max, and international tours in places like Saudi Arabia and Israel. Ross and Marshall highlighted how social media and streaming have given wrestling companies the chance to reach fans across the globe in ways that were unimaginable just a few decades ago. WWE’s new Netflix deal means that more than 80% of the world now has access to Raw and SmackDown, while AEW’s partnership with Max is giving fans more ways to experience their favorite matches.
The brothers compared today’s global outreach to the ‘80s and ‘90s glory days of wrestling in Japan. Back then, wrestling captivated entire nations, and today’s international tours are bringing that same excitement to millions of new fans. As they pointed out, the Von Erich name was built on the idea of connecting with fans across the world—and now they have the tools to do that more effectively than ever before.
